Jewelry Care

Save the pouch

Just like anything you treasure, your handcrafted Made to Glorify jewelry will shine best with proper care. To minimize scratches and inhibit tarnish, keep the plastic zip-pouch your jewelry arrived in, and store each piece individually in these when you’re not wearing them. If you lose the zip-pouch it arrived in, storing them individually in an airtight location like a jewelry box will retain their shine longer.

Shine it up

Real sterling silver and copper will tarnish with exposure and time, so we recommend you polish your sterling and copper components periodically with the treated polishing cloth we send with each order. When your cloth becomes overly soiled, and you’re ready to replace it, click here to order a new polishing cloth. It’s quick and easy: rub firmly around the item’s surface, but not so hard that you dig deeply into any hand-stamped blackened letters, so they will remain legible.

Wear it gently

Our jewelry is handmade and delicate, and sterling silver is softer than metals, so you should remove your pieces before swimming, exercising, yard work, painting, undressing, or any rapid-motion activity that could compromise your jewelry or its components. Avoid exposing your jewelry to cleansers, adhesives, chemicals or bleach, and handle gently.
